Summer...

(Do not click on picture.. it's really blurry :)

I'm in a summery mood. It smells like California outside. It's the perfect temperature. Best of all, I just had an ice cream-strawberry-cantaloupe-honey dew-dr.pepper smoothie!

It's April 25th and I have a month and two days left of school, but it feels like summer!

Dad was just talking about blogging so I decided I needed to write a blog. I didn't have a topic, so I picked summer since that's what it feels like right now. Here are my ten favorite things about summer!

1. Sleeping in!
2. Traveling.
3. Siblings home (these year only one *tear*).
4. Swimming, there is nothing like getting up at 11 and then going for a swim. I'm going to have to say that I've only done that like once, but it was amazing!
5. Going for drives while the sun is shining.
6. Walks when the sun is just going down and there's the hint of a cool breeze.
7. Listening to summery music, like Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, and whoever else.
8. Being entertained by Charis!
9. Laughing.
10. Beach days. They're rare, but they're awesome!

Why is summer so amazing? My answer- :) it means freedom, freedom from the monotony of the rest of the year, freedom to do whatever you want until it's time for chores/cleaning. Even when it doesn't mean freedom, it means change. The good kind of change, the kind of change almost everybody likes. It's not the kind of change that's scary, it's the refreshing kind of change! Change you can forget about if you don't like!

Anyway, that's all I've got, <3 Paisleybokeh

Enjoy this summer! Next summer you'll be buying stuff for college and wondering what to pack and stuff. Not that that's not exciting, it's just different.
P.S. I'm glad I'm entertaining :P Oh, and we should go to Galveston sometime with just the two of us...take pictures, do something stupid/crazy, you know :)

  2. Oh, I meant to ask: Did the sun do that naturally through the fence or is that edited?

  3. That photo is stunning. I'm really impressed with all the stuff you've managed to pull off in the backyard.
