blue?

I was going to title this summer... and then I realized that this was four weeks ago in the spring, and Texas' beauty is officially gone because it actually is summer. Not that I don't absolutely love Texas in the summer, it's just a little tiny bit warm for my liking.

CHOIR!

This weekend has been pretty great.
I had a choir concert.... that went well for once :)
I had Greek food.
and I hula hooped.

First of all, I don't think I've every been able to say that about a choir concert before, at least not this year! My choir started out at the beginning of the year with 11 people. Only 4/11 had been in choir before. Our first concert-like thing we managed to fumble through, but that's mostly because we singing to a large group of people and they were all talking... so they couldn't hear us :).

Our second concert, at Christmas, wasn't terrible but we managed to make WAAAYY to many major mistakes... and only about four of us were really singing. Not only that, we were so scared we were shaking in our boots (or our shoes of choice).

Then we starting talking about how we were singing for God, not for us, after that we made it to state, and we were given a two, or excellent. And we only had 9 people with us at State!
Two days ago we had our last concert... it was more fun than any of us could of imagined it would be. For the first time we were hardly nervous, we actually managed to be on stage and sing at the same time!

I don't think nine months ago when we started singing together any of us thought we would be able to have so much fun singing! When we realized what singing was all about, glorifying God, we managed to come together and have a whole lot of fun... and maybe proving a few people wrong about our group :). That's why this weekend started out so well.

During our concert there was a huge thunder storm... it was the coolest thing ever... I just had to say that.

That's actually all I've got, <3 Paisleybokeh
