9 Random Things I've Learned in the Past Two Years

9 Random Things I've (re)Learned in the Past Two Years:

1. People are always worth investing in. Whether you know you’ll have the rest of your life with them, three weeks, or only 45 minutes, they’re worth your attention, your time, and your heart.

2. On a sunny day, everything should be dropped for a good chat or game of Frisbee on the lawn.

3. You cannot ever judge the potential for friendship with someone until you’ve known them for at least two months.

4. Communication actually is key. A huge amount of conflict at trinity occurs simply because when people are upset they misinterpret.

5. Alone time should be cherished and sought after. When you live with 16 other girls, real (out-of-the-dorm) alone time becomes more valuable than gold.

6. Keep the fridge clean… seriously... when it's smell is starting to drive people away something is probably wrong.

7. No need to freak out if other people have homework and you don’t… you’re in humanities and you're only taking 12 credits. Enjoy that sunshine!

8. Do not take the same prof for multiple classes in the same semester. It’s confusing, boring, and just generally dreadful.

9. Sometimes God will place you in a position you’re completely unqualified for, but then he’ll provide you with the support you need, and somehow he’ll use you even when you're unprepared.
