Beauty
This picture was taken in Northern British Columbia this summer.
I wish I could take a picture of every sunset and sunrise I see... they have to be one of God's most photogenic creations!

Water
I was just fiddling around today and this is what I came up with.
I definitely didn't get quite what I wanted, but it worked out better than last time a tried! Now I'm trying to come up with something that is actually black to take pictures over. This time I hung a bag of water from a cupboard handle and poked a hole in it to let it drop water into a pan with a black shirt in the bottom... it was the best I could think of, but not the greatest :(. Does anybody *cough* Andrew *cough* have any better ideas?

Simple Origami
It's time for a new post.
It's not like I have anything special to write about, I just feel like I should try.
It's the middle of summer, most of my friends are out of town and I have nothing to do. I'm not gonna lie, it's been kinda enjoyable. I've done a little work and slept plenty, but now it's to the point were I really want a full time job, anywhere, doing anything, just to get out.
I really don't have anything deep to say about that...
So here's a random topic I'm going to write about:
My mind is so blank that I just googled 'random topic,' believe it or not there's actually a pretty cool site called Random Topic Generator that exists to give people like me things to write about on their blogs. It gave me the topic 'simple origami.'
I definitely have no knowledge on this topic.
I clearly remember the time a attempted to create an origami swan in 6th grade, it didn't go so well. In fact it ended up looking more like a drowned ball of paper, but whatever. There is one thing I managed to learn how to make... and since I learned I've probably made thousands, or at least a hundred. I know that because one of my friends and I once sat down and made 100 just for fun. Not 100 beautiful origami swans... nope, we made 100 paper balls, no, not just crumbled paper, it was actually origami, very SIMPLE origami. I just tried to find a picture so I could show you, but I can't find one. Anyway the reason I'm telling you this is because on Monday when I was babysitting I picked up a paper and started to make one and the six year old boy was really amazed. I could probably make them in my sleep, but it still amazed him. I still think it would be cool to be able to make a swan... but since I'm not about to learn I guess I should be content with my paper ball making ability. I'm content, as long as I always have one skill that impresses six year olds.
This completes my random blog on origami.
Nope, I really didn't have anything to say about origami.
That's all I've got, Paisleybokeh <3

CHOIR!
This weekend has been pretty great.
I had a choir concert.... that went well for once :)
I had Greek food.
and I hula hooped.
First of all, I don't think I've every been able to say that about a choir concert before, at least not this year! My choir started out at the beginning of the year with 11 people. Only 4/11 had been in choir before. Our first concert-like thing we managed to fumble through, but that's mostly because we singing to a large group of people and they were all talking... so they couldn't hear us :).
Our second concert, at Christmas, wasn't terrible but we managed to make WAAAYY to many major mistakes... and only about four of us were really singing. Not only that, we were so scared we were shaking in our boots (or our shoes of choice).
Then we starting talking about how we were singing for God, not for us, after that we made it to state, and we were given a two, or excellent. And we only had 9 people with us at State!
Two days ago we had our last concert... it was more fun than any of us could of imagined it would be. For the first time we were hardly nervous, we actually managed to be on stage and sing at the same time!
I don't think nine months ago when we started singing together any of us thought we would be able to have so much fun singing! When we realized what singing was all about, glorifying God, we managed to come together and have a whole lot of fun... and maybe proving a few people wrong about our group :). That's why this weekend started out so well.
During our concert there was a huge thunder storm... it was the coolest thing ever... I just had to say that.
That's actually all I've got, <3 Paisleybokeh

Summer...
I'm in a summery mood. It smells like California outside. It's the perfect temperature. Best of all, I just had an ice cream-strawberry-cantaloupe-honey dew-dr.pepper smoothie!
It's April 25th and I have a month and two days left of school, but it feels like summer!
Dad was just talking about blogging so I decided I needed to write a blog. I didn't have a topic, so I picked summer since that's what it feels like right now. Here are my ten favorite things about summer!
1. Sleeping in!
2. Traveling.
3. Siblings home (these year only one *tear*).
4. Swimming, there is nothing like getting up at 11 and then going for a swim. I'm going to have to say that I've only done that like once, but it was amazing!
5. Going for drives while the sun is shining.
6. Walks when the sun is just going down and there's the hint of a cool breeze.
7. Listening to summery music, like Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, and whoever else.
8. Being entertained by Charis!
9. Laughing.
10. Beach days. They're rare, but they're awesome!
Why is summer so amazing? My answer- :) it means freedom, freedom from the monotony of the rest of the year, freedom to do whatever you want until it's time for chores/cleaning. Even when it doesn't mean freedom, it means change. The good kind of change, the kind of change almost everybody likes. It's not the kind of change that's scary, it's the refreshing kind of change! Change you can forget about if you don't like!
Anyway, that's all I've got, <3 Paisleybokeh
